- 01 Nov 2016
On Tuesday 25 October 2016, the Housing Agency, held the second in its Series of Autumn Lectures on the theme of ‘Building Affordable and Sustainable Communities’. The keynote speaker was Terrie Alafat, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH). Dr Michelle Norris, Head of Social Policy, Social Work and Social Justice responded.
Housing is about more than bricks and mortar. The Housing Agency invited Terrie Alafat to address this keynote seminar at Dublin Castle. CIH was founded in 1916 and it was a fitting way to mark 100 years for CIH’s chief executive to reflect on our experience and to give her perspective on how to build sustainable communities.
