The following charts shown below display the breakdown of planning applications submitted around Ireland for residential units for the year. These charts are broken down by the total number of units submitted annually, quarterly, by number of bedrooms, by local authority and by their dwelling type.
The data that was used for these charts was collected from Construction Information Services (CIS). The CIS gathers and collates the data from Local Authority online planning submissions.
