Description
A Rent Pressure Zone (RPZ) is a designated area where rents cannot be increased by more than general inflation, as recorded by the Harmonised Index of the Consumer Price (HICP), or by 2%, if inflation is higher. Under Housing for All, the Government’s plan for housing to 2030, the operation of RPZs has been extended until the end of 2024.
