Land Acquisition Fund

Overview

Housing for All (HFA) commits to supporting Local Authorities (LA) & Approved Housing Bodies (AHBs) to deliver more “own build” social & affordable housing schemes. The HFA Land Acquisition Fund (The Fund) was established to address the lack of available development land to underpin housing delivery up to 2030 (based on DHLGH/HCDO research).

The Housing Agency oversees the fund and helps both Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies as required; allocated funding of €239m includes €50m for the provision of affordable housing delivery.
