Who we help
The Procurements team offer professional technical advice to Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies in the procurement of construction related services. These can include the procurement of design teams for project delivery or services such as surveys and other specialist services
Bodies who receive more than 50% state funding for their projects must procure the requisite services in line with public procurement procedures.
For Local Authority SHIP or Approved Housing Body CAS construction projects, both consultants and works contractors must be compliant with public procurement regulations.
The Procurement team can advise on programme with reference to the Department of Housing proposed programmes for delivery of SHIP and CAS projects and can give advice on level of detail required at the various stages of the 4 Stage Process.
What we do
The Procurements team can assist to ensure that services are procured in accordance with the requirements of the Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF) and EU Guidelines. The team also assist where required with the publication of tenders on eTenders, the assessment of tenders submitted and provide advice on the appointment procedures thereafter.
