The Housing Agency and Housing Europe co-hosted an event entitled The Ground Beneath Our Feet - public land use and delivery of affordable housing on the 7th June at the Social Housing Festival in Barcelona.
Land is fundamental to the delivery of housing. It is literally the foundation upon which housing is built, and those who control it, thus, also effectively control the delivery of new housing. In the context of insufficient availability of affordable housing in many regions, this event will look at the different ways in which government is using strong land management policies to boost the delivery of new social & affordable homes.
