This is the second in a series of reports from a National Study of Irish Housing Experiences, Attitudes and Aspirations. Report 2 focuses on national housing and neighbourhood satisfaction. It also looks at dwelling and neighbourhood characteristics, attitudes to different tenures and housing affordability. It is based on a nationally representative sample survey of 1,200 householders.
This is the first in a series of reports from a National Study of Irish Housing Experiences, Attitudes and Aspirations. Report 1 consists of a literature review and exploratory focus groups. The objective of the focus groups was to explore themes around residential satisfaction and housing aspirations emerging from the literature review.

This is the sixth annual progress report and seventh housing survey on tackling the issue of unfinished housing developments. This includes the results from the 2017 National Housing Development Survey which tracks progress on unfinished housing developments since 2010.
This study examines residential construction costs in Ireland compared to a range of comparable European counties. The comparable countries included in the Agency’s study are: United Kingdom (UK), Germany, the Netherlands, and France. These countries were selected because they have comparable climatic conditions, economic characteristics and construction labour costs to Ireland.
This handbook provides architects, planners, developers and other housing professionals in the private and public sector with an introduction to the elements that contribute to the design of good quality apartments and urban housing. By considering a range of layouts and typologies and by drawing on examples from around Europe the guide aims to demonstrate the potential of good design to make apartments the dwellings of choice.
This is a summary document of a report, jointly commissioned by Dublin City Council and the Housing Agency, contains the results of an evaluation of the first phase of the Inchicore Housing with Support Demonstration prototype. The overall aim of this housing project is to develop a new model of housing for older people where care, support and community dimensions are provided onsite, integrated into the community and designed with older people at the centre. A toolkit was also developed to provide a guide for social housing providers interested in developing Housing with Support projects for older people.
